Kerala Police is at the forefront in the fight against COVID-19.Due to duties related to lockdown, policemen often forget to take care of their own health as well as their families. To overcome this, Kerala Police Academy (KEPA) has launched a telemedicine program viz., 'Doctor just a phone call away' for the police officers and their families. Through this application, police personnel/family members can contact a doctor via Whatsapp, Video call for medical consultation.
To reduce the stress of police officers and their families during this pandemic period, Kerala Police Academy has launched a Tele counseling program to enhance their mental health. This app provides the details of counselors with available time slots and mobile numbers. The police officials /family members who are in need of counseling can consult the counselor at the designated time slot.
