The Silver Medal was won by Sri.KOUSURI V N S RAJU of Andhra Pradesh Police and Bronze Medal was won by Sri. P.MANIKANDAN of Central Reserve Police Force.

Palayam Rajan, Corporation Ward Councilor and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
A person who wants to track or know the status of their FIR can access the Kerala Police website (keralapolice.gov.in) and click the link ‘Know your FIR Status’. Any one of the information such as FIR number or name of the petitioner or date of registration of the FIR has to be given to access the details. The status of the case, including the acts and sections involved, contact details of the investigating officer, name of the filing court, and case details, etc are available online.
Cases registered at police stations will be recorded through the Daily Crime Reporting and Monitoring System (DCRMS) and the details are conveyed to the public through the interface provided in the Kerala Police website. The online system will enable senior officers to monitor the progress of the investigation. The details on the website will also help the police to track crime cases.
This facility is being provided and maintained by the Police Computer Centre, State Crime Records Bureau of Kerala Police.

Sri. Maniyan pillai (47 years ) , the driver police officer of Parippally PS, Kollam City was killed and an ASI Sri. Joy seriously injured when unidentified persons attacked them while checking a vehicle parked under suspicious circumstances during night patrol on 26/06/2012 01.00AM.
Maniyan Pillai was cremated on his residential premises on Tuesday evening. He is survived by wife Sangeetha S Nair and daughters Smriti and Swathy.
Assistant sub-inspector Joy, 52, Panavilavettil, Chenkulam, suffered serious injuries and is recovering at a private Medical College Hospital
Thekkady is a world famous international tourist destination. Boating in Periyar lake is the main attraction of Thekkady. On September 30th 2009, it was 5.05 PM, Inspector of Police, Kumily, Shri. Anil Sreenivas got information that a tourist boat was sinking in Periyar lake. So immediately he along with maximum police personnel rushed on the police Jeep to the boat landing.
Meanwhile on police jeep the Inspector informed the higher-ups and also made light arrangements for the rescue operation as it was night setting in.

Kerala Police won the over all Championship in the Computer Events in the All India Police Duty Meet – 2010 held in Jaipur during February 07 to 12, 2011. In addition to the Overall Championship Kerala Police also won gold and a silver medal in the individual items. This is the third time Kerala Police winning the overall Championship in the Computer Events.
