Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan Hon’ble Minister for Home and Vigilance distributed the Prices and declared Cash Prices to Winners of Police Duty Meet from next duty meet onwards. The declaration was made on the occasion of the closing ceremony of 57th Kerala Police Duty meet. The recommendation of the State Police Chief to award Rs 2 lakhs for gold Medalist Rs 1 lakh for Silver Medalist on National Police Duty Meets and 1 Lakh and Rs 50000/- for gold and silver medalist for State Police Duty Meet will be implemented, the minister declared this is aiming to improve capacity and professional skills in duties of police personnel’s. Sri. DILI. S Civil Police officer of Kerala Police has won the gold medal in Computer awareness event in the 56th All India Police Duty Meet -2012 in Bhopal. The Silver Medal was won by Sri.KOUSURI V N S RAJU of Andhra Pradesh Police and Bronze Medal was won by Sri. P.MANIKANDAN of Central Reserve Police Force.

Palayam Rajan, Corporation Ward Councilor and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
A person who wants to track or know the status of their FIR can access the Kerala Police website (keralapolice.gov.in) and click the link ‘Know your FIR Status’. Any one of the information such as FIR number or name of the petitioner or date of registration of the FIR has to be given to access the details. The status of the case, including the acts and sections involved, contact details of the investigating officer, name of the filing court, and case details, etc are available online.
Cases registered at police stations will be recorded through the Daily Crime Reporting and Monitoring System (DCRMS) and the details are conveyed to the public through the interface provided in the Kerala Police website. The online system will enable senior officers to monitor the progress of the investigation. The details on the website will also help the police to track crime cases.
This facility is being provided and maintained by the Police Computer Centre, State Crime Records Bureau of Kerala Police.
